About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to help design, build, and continuously improve their online platform. In this role, you will research, suggest, and implement new technology solutions while following best practices and standards. You will take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of various products and be a productive member of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and operate cloud-native Spring Boot microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- 8-10 years of backend engineering experience.
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Understanding of database technologies including SQL and NoSQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
