The team is a leading provider of Shielded Cloud and Digital Solutions across Australia and New Zealand, specializing in secure, enterprise-scale technology solutions. They are currently seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join their dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Java applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our solutions remain innovative.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in Java development.
