About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based integration services that interact with IBM ITX maps and artifacts. You will play a key role in automating ITX map execution and managing pre/post-processing logic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java-based integration services.
- Build wrappers, launchers, or custom adapters for ITX map execution.
- Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms for data transformations and file transfers.
- Support EDI processing, particularly HIPAA X12 transactions (270/271, 837, 835, etc.).
- Collaborate with ITX developers, solution architects, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java programming and related frameworks.
- Experience with IBM ITX and EDI processing.
- Strong understanding of error handling and logging practices.
- Familiarity with HIPAA X12 transactions and data transformation processes.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in Java development and integration services.
