About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to interpret briefs and create high-quality, functional Java-based applications according to specifications. This role involves active participation in design, implementation, and ensuring code alignment with project objectives. You will work closely with the Product Manager/Architect to define deliverables and may also mentor a team of developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret briefs to create high-quality code that functions according to specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust applications.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in Java development.
