About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust backend services that meet scalability and performance requirements while adhering to the highest code quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Java.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing backend systems for performance and reliability.
- Ensure code quality through peer reviews and unit testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Framework.
- Hands-on experience with traditional RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred) and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience in building highly scalable and maintainable REST APIs.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of professional experience in backend development.
