About this role
The team is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their team in Ahmedabad, India. This role requires immediate joiners who will be responsible for providing exceptional onsite support to clients by resolving assigned tickets and ensuring smooth operations of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with a team of engineers to address and resolve technical issues.
- Provide end-user support by visiting client sites and assisting with hardware and software problems.
- Install and configure applications, including Autodesk, AutoCAD, and various architecture software applications.
- Manage and troubleshoot MS Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
- Maintain and support MS Windows Server environments, including versions 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- Perform RAID configurations and ensure data integrity.
- Assist with server migration projects from 2012 to 2022.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of MS Windows operating systems and server environments.
- Hands-on experience with RAID configurations and server migrations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients effectively.
- Relevant certifications in IT support or networking are a plus.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in IT support or a related field is required.
