About this role
The team is seeking a Senior IT Ops Engineer with a strong focus on Wintel environments. This role involves managing and optimizing Windows-based systems to ensure high availability and performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT operations and a solid understanding of infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Windows servers and related infrastructure.
- Implement and monitor system performance metrics and logs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and upgrades.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in IT operations, specifically with Wintel systems.
