About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and management of all development, UAT, pre-production, production, and disaster recovery environments, as well as internal corporate IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high availability of applications, making them accessible when users need them.
- Optimize application performance to scale with user demand.
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect applications from unauthorized access and data loss.
- Design and manage fault-tolerant systems to eliminate single points of failure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance infrastructure strategies and solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in infrastructure management and administration.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with network security protocols and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in infrastructure engineering or a related field.
