The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer II to join their Data Engineering, Analytics & Intelligence team. This team is crucial in fostering a data-driven culture and collaborates across various departments including Finance, Sales, and Marketing to establish robust analytical foundations that support global operations.
In this role, you will be a primary architect of the Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) environment. You will leverage your expertise to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and architectures that facilitate data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency and performance.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in data engineering tools and technologies, particularly Oracle Fusion.
- Strong experience with SQL and data modeling.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
