About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Health Data Scientist & Analytics Lead specializing in Wearables & Digital Health to join their team in Ahmedabad, India. This is an in-person role focused on leveraging wearable technology and physiological data to enhance user understanding of health metrics.
In this role, you will lead the analysis, validation, and evolution of health data and insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that support user engagement and health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of data analytics strategies for health and performance metrics.
- Analyze large datasets from wearable devices to extract meaningful insights.
- Validate data integrity and ensure the accuracy of health-related analyses.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate data insights into user-facing applications.
- Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance on best practices in data analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in health data science, particularly with wearable technology.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and statistical modeling.
- Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in health data science or a related field.
