About this role
The team is seeking experienced Senior Go Backend Developers to join their engineering team. The ideal candidates will be strong, hands-on backend engineers with a solid background in building scalable applications and services using Go (Golang). They should be capable of taking ownership of their work, solving complex technical problems, making sound technical decisions, and collaborating effectively with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Go (Golang).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- For one of the positions, take on Lead-level responsibilities, guiding the team in technical decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) and experience with backend development.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant backend development experience, with at least 3 years in Go (Golang).
