They are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for their Platform team to lead the development and enhancement of their innovative technology solutions.
In this role, you will oversee a team of engineers, driving the design and implementation of scalable and efficient platforms that enhance user experience for consumers, agents, and carriers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product vision and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the architecture and development of the technology platform, ensuring it meets performance and scalability requirements.
- Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability, addressing any issues proactively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software engineering and team management, with a strong background in platform development.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks, such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
