About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to lead their Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) team. This role is critical in shaping and driving the strategy for infrastructure, automation, and reliability behind essential components that support hundreds of products for customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers, promoting a culture of automation, resilience, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of CIAM solutions.
- Develop and implement best practices for infrastructure management, focusing on scalability and reliability.
- Drive initiatives for automation and monitoring to enhance system performance and reduce downtime.
- Oversee incident response and root cause analysis to improve system reliability and performance.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and knowledge sharing among team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a DevOps or SRE leadership role, with a strong focus on CIAM technologies.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.
Experience: 5-8 years in a relevant field, with a strong background in DevOps and SRE practices.
