About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Engineer - Software (C++) to join their dynamic team in the field of digital pathology. This role will involve developing innovative software solutions that integrate advanced imaging technologies with AI and robotics to enhance digital pathology workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C++ for high-performance imaging systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Implement and optimize algorithms for image processing and analysis.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in C++ programming with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with software development in imaging, robotics, or AI applications.
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies, including version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python or Java is a plus.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant software engineering experience, particularly in high-tech or scientific applications.
