The team is seeking a Senior Embedded Platform Security Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on developing secure and reliable operating-system platforms for embedded, regulated, and mission-critical products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in securing Linux and Android platforms at the system level, with a hands-on approach to engineering and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security features for embedded operating systems.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses on Linux and Android platforms.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure security is integrated from the ground up.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures for embedded systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in security best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities affecting embedded systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Linux and Android security at the system level.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and security frameworks.
- Experience with hardware security modules and cryptographic protocols.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards related to embedded systems security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in embedded systems security engineering or related fields.
