The team is seeking a Senior Diagnostic Software Support Engineer to join their team in the Aftersales/Technical Services sector. This role is crucial for providing expert diagnostic support and solutions for premium vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the senior diagnostic authority within the workshop, addressing complex vehicle faults.
- Manage escalations from junior technicians and provide guidance on intricate diagnostic issues.
- Perform advanced ECU programming and network diagnostics to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Collaborate with the Workshop Manager, Technical Manager, and Service Manager to streamline operations and improve service quality.
- Stay updated on the latest diagnostic tools and technologies to enhance service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in premium OEM diagnostics, with a minimum of 4-5 years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electronic systems and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and clients.
- Relevant certifications in automotive diagnostics or related fields are preferred.
Experience:
- 6-10 years in automotive diagnostics or related technical services.
