About this role
The team is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join their team in a remote, full-time capacity. This role focuses on maintaining and strengthening AWS infrastructure, including ECS and EKS, to support the company's platform while ensuring compliance with security frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance AWS infrastructure, including ECS and EKS.
- Own automated tests and validation checks for ongoing compliance with security frameworks, including SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
- Identify and flag security compliance issues in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Embed security thinking throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Improve the security, reliability, and scalability of the platform.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with AWS services, particularly ECS and EKS.
- Proficient in implementing security frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
- Experience with automated testing and validation checks.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering teams.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in a DevSecOps or related role, with a strong focus on security in cloud environments.
