About this role
The team is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead their DevOps initiatives. In this role, you will play a key part in architecting and implementing scalable infrastructure, managing code releases, and collaborating with software engineers and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes.
- Automate deployment and management of applications to enhance efficiency.
- Build and maintain tools for deployment and operations to support team activities.
- Monitor site reliability and performance to ensure optimal operation.
- Implement security best practices to safeguard infrastructure and applications.
- Mentor junior members of the team, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system health.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience: 5-8 years in a DevOps or related role.
