About this role
The team is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building automation for container technologies and migrating microservices to a robust platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build automation to create container technologies and facilitate the migration of microservices from ECS & Kubernetes to EKS/AKS.
- Assist in migrating a monolithic Ruby on Rails application to a containerized infrastructure on EKS/AKS.
- Participate in the design and evaluation of new tools, techniques, and technologies.
- Help manage the CALM Pipeline and Kubernetes PODs.
- Contribute to and build the architecture of our Cloud platform and its delivery.
- Develop tools and software solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with AWS services, particularly EKS/AKS.
- Proficiency in container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and its migration to cloud-based architectures.
- Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in DevOps or related fields, with a focus on cloud technologies.
