About this role
The team is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will mentor team members and assist in troubleshooting various issues. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop a roadmap for automation and deployments, fostering a DevOps culture by bridging gaps between Development and IT Infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and guide DevOps team members in best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and maintain a roadmap for automation and deployment processes.
- Plan and execute the design, implementation, and automation of solution delivery.
- Troubleshoot application deployments across enterprise container, server, and cluster environments.
- Work closely with IT security teams to ensure compliance with security standards and protocols.
- Continuously improve processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the DevOps practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a DevOps role, with strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in DevOps or related fields.
