About this role
The team is seeking a seasoned Senior Databricks Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Databricks and will play a crucial role in the expansion of the enterprise Databricks data platform. This position focuses on integrating additional datasets, engineering scalable data pipelines, and building new business dimensions and measures within the existing Databricks ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
- Integrate various datasets into the Databricks platform to enhance data accessibility and usability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Build new business dimensions and measures to support analytics and reporting initiatives.
- Optimize existing data processes for improved performance and efficiency.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Databricks and its ecosystem.
- Proficiency in data engineering concepts and best practices.
- Experience with SQL, Python, or Scala for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related field.
