Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust database solutions to support various applications.
- Manage and optimize large MongoDB clusters hosted on the cloud.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of database systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to define database requirements and optimize queries.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation and database management tasks.
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL and SQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
- Significant experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with a focus on cloud-hosted environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation purposes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in database engineering and administration.
