About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Database Architect who combines deep expertise in legacy database systems with a forward-looking vision for AI-native data architecture. In this role, you will lead the decomposition of complex stored procedures while simultaneously designing vector databases, embedding strategies, and semantic models that power AI agents and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis and optimization of existing stored procedures.
- Design and implement vector databases to support AI functionalities.
- Develop embedding strategies for data integration and retrieval.
- Create and manage semantic models to enhance AI workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on data architecture goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AI and database technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with legacy database systems and migration strategies.
- Strong knowledge of AI-native data architecture principles.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design and optimization.
- Familiarity with vector databases and embedding techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts clearly.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in database architecture and design, with a focus on AI applications.
