About this role
As a Senior Data Test Engineer, you will be responsible for executing test cases for data projects, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reliability. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to improve data processes and analytics solutions. Reporting to the Data Test Manager within the Product & Technology Team, your focus will be on maintaining the quality and reliability of data engineering processes and contributing to our data strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for data projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues and recommend solutions.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to enhance data processes.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards.
- Participate in the design and implementation of data validation frameworks.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best testing practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data testing and quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering processes and data analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in data testing or quality assurance roles.
