The team is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their team as the Founding Data Science Lead for HiWox, a HealthTech and wellness platform. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions in preventive healthcare and personalized wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance health intelligence and measurable transformation.
- Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights across various wellness domains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into the platform.
- Design and optimize machine learning models to support predictive analytics and personalized recommendations.
- Communicate findings and strategies effectively to stakeholders and team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data science, with a strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation libraries.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques to present insights clearly.
- Experience in the healthcare or wellness industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in data science or a related field.
