About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their innovative team as a Founding Data Science Lead. This is a part-time, remote position focused on developing a human transformation ecosystem that emphasizes functional nutrition, preventive wellness, and gut health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of data-driven models to support personalized nutrition and transformation programs.
- Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights that enhance customer experience and outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into product offerings.
- Develop and maintain predictive models and algorithms that drive business decisions.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the growth of the data science team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of data manipulation and analysis techniques, including experience with SQL.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the health and wellness sector is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in data science or a related field.
