About this role

The team is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their Corporate Office in Chennai. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who will lead the Data Science team and drive the development of data-driven solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and scale enterprise-wide data science and AI capabilities.
  • Act as a bridge between manufacturing operations and advanced analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
  • Design and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts in their professional development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or AI, with a minimum of 5 years in a relevant role.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience: 5-8 years in Data Science or related fields.
