About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Senior Data Quality Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, Databricks, Data Quality, and Data Observability. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing data quality controls, monitoring data pipelines, identifying data issues, and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of enterprise data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute data quality rules, validations, and controls across enterprise datasets.
- Work with Monte Carlo Data Observability tools to enhance data monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Design and implement automated data quality checks and reporting mechanisms.
- Analyze data quality metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis for data discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Databricks.
- Solid understanding of data quality frameworks and best practices.
- Experience with data observability tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in data quality engineering or a related field.
