About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Modeler with a strong background in data modelling, data warehousing, and modern cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will possess at least 6 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data models that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data models for various business applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and optimize data warehousing solutions using Snowflake.
- Utilize dbt to build and manage data transformations.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data modelers and team members.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data modelling and warehousing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt.
- Proficiency in data modelling techniques and methodologies.
- Experience with ETL processes and data integration tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and data querying languages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in data modelling and related fields.
