About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team remotely in India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that facilitate data ingestion, processing, and storage. You will play a crucial role in building and optimizing data architectures and models to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for data ingestion and processing.
- Build and optimize data architectures, including Lakehouse and dimensional models.
- Develop ETL/ELT processes to transform and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures, protecting intellectual property.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies, including SQL, Python, and ETL frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehousing principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in data engineering or a related field is required.
