About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in translating business requirements into Azure Cloud-based big data solutions as part of their data modernization program. This position involves building complex data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using various Azure services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Collaborate with product owners and other team members to ensure alignment with data strategy and platform requirements.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing large volumes of data.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to enhance performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or SQL.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
- Experience with big data technologies and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
