About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Technical Lead with extensive hands-on experience in data engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading technical initiatives across production data platforms and will be responsible for designing, building, and operating production-grade data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust data pipelines to support enterprise-scale data processing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers.
- Ensure data governance and security best practices are followed across all data platforms.
- Work with real-time data processing technologies to enhance data accessibility and usability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize existing data workflows and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in AWS, Databricks, Spark, Python/Java, SQL, dbt, and Airflow.
- Proven experience in data governance and security practices.
- Familiarity with real-time data processing frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on data engineering experience, including technical leadership.
