The team is a fast-growing data engineering and data science consultancy, specializing in delivering commercial value through Data and Artificial Intelligence. They work primarily with Private Equity Funds and their Portfolio Companies, as well as growth businesses, large corporates, multinationals, and charities.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures. You will collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data is accessible and usable for decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust data pipelines to support analytics and reporting.
- Optimize data storage and processing solutions for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
