About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement robust data solutions on the Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in migrating legacy systems to Azure and integrating data from multiple sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Azure data solutions using services such as Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and Function App.
- Migrate legacy SSIS packages to the Azure cloud environment.
- Integrate data from various sources utilizing Python, SQL, and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Optimize data storage and processing for performance and cost-efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in IT data and cloud engineering.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure deployments, administration, and migrations.
- Proficiency with Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks, and Apache Spark.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Experience: 8-10 years.
