The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing data engineering frameworks and data pipelines. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our data infrastructure and ensuring efficient data processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data engineering frameworks and data pipelines using Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
- Develop and maintain strong skills in Big Query, GCP Cloud Data Fusion for ETL/ELT processes, and Power BI.
- Create and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Document high-level design components of the Databricks data pipeline framework.
- Evaluate current dependencies on existing DEI toolsets and collaborate on a migration plan.
- Lead data engineering projects and mentor junior team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Big Query, GCP Cloud Data Fusion, Power BI, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
- Proficiency in designing and managing data pipelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
