About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a contract role focused on supporting a business-critical enterprise web application and its data ecosystem. This position is fully remote and requires an immediate joiner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines and architectures to support data processing and analytics.
- Collaborate with application development teams to integrate data solutions into enterprise applications.
- Utilize Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and other AI technologies to enhance data processing capabilities.
- Work with tools such as Databricks, PySpark, and Azure DevOps to streamline data workflows.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in AI and Data Engineering, particularly with Azure technologies.
- Proficient in Python and experience with AutoGen, OCR, and LLMs.
- Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms and data governance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in Data Engineering or a related field, with a focus on AI applications.
