About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Data Operations, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design, develop, integrate, and test Data Product features aligned with product roadmaps to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for data products.
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures.
- Develop and maintain robust ETL processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
- Conduct testing and validation of data products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data-related issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to data engineering.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Expertise in data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience:
- 9-15 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related field.
