About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in Azure and AI technologies to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable data and AI solutions, leveraging their expertise in Azure Databricks and Python.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Develop and optimize data models and architectures, including Medallion Architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions and enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Utilize Azure AI Foundry for building and deploying AI models.
- Implement CI/CD practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Work with large language models (LLM) and prompt engineering techniques to enhance AI capabilities.
- Maintain and optimize Azure SQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Python programming.
- Proficiency in Azure AI Foundry and related AI technologies.
- Experience with ADF, Azure SQL DB, and Databricks Apps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control using GitHub.
- Solid understanding of data architecture principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 8-11 years of relevant experience in data engineering and AI solutions.
