About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, Chennai, or Kochi. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating data pipelines and lakehouse platforms that support analytics and data products across the organization. You will take ownership of the end-to-end processes including ingestion, transformation, and modeling of data using Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust data pipelines to ensure reliable data flow.
- Transform and model raw data into structured formats suitable for analysis.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and provide solutions.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems and pipelines.
- Ensure data governance and quality throughout the data lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in data engineering tools, specifically Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong experience in data ingestion, transformation, and modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize data processing workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
