About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data engineering and data warehouse solutions. In this role, you will manage data schemas, optimize SQL queries, and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality data processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data engineering solutions and data warehouse architectures.
- Manage and optimize data schemas for performance and efficiency.
- Tune SQL queries for improved performance and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
- Develop data ingestion and orchestration pipelines using Kafka, Snowflake, and Python.
- Utilize DBT for data modeling and pipeline development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Data Platforms and Data Warehousing concepts.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with SSAS Tabular Models.
- Proficient in designing data ingestion and orchestration pipelines.
- Experience with Kafka, Snowflake, Python, and DBT.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience: 5-8 years in Data Engineering or related field.
