About this role

The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead multiple initiatives and solutions within their Global Data & Analytics technology organization. This role will be pivotal in establishing future-proof data and solution architectures that support data engineering, data science, analytics, business intelligence, and AI on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures and pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all data initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance data capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in data engineering, with a focus on big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data warehousing solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related roles.
