About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions within enterprise retail platforms hosted in Azure. This role is highly hands-on and focused on developing robust data pipelines, optimizing SQL performance, and implementing best practices in Snowflake and SQL Server environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data architectures and solutions.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Optimize SQL performance and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Collaborate with Leads and Managers to align data architecture solutions with business objectives.
- Implement best practices for data governance and security.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Azure data services and cloud computing.
- Strong experience with Snowflake and SQL Server.
- Expertise in SQL and data modeling.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
