About this role
We are seeking a Senior Data Architect & Technical Lead to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data platforms and solutions. This role will drive data architecture, modeling, governance, migration, modernization, and engineering practices while leading cross-functional teams and ensuring scalable, secure, compliant solutions aligned with business needs. Experience delivering data solutions in insurance or financial services is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end data architecture and design processes.
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Lead data migration and modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry regulations.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in data engineering practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data architecture and engineering, with a focus on enterprise-scale solutions.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, governance, and migration strategies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in data architecture and technical leadership roles.
