About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Commvault Backup Administrator to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of backup environments utilizing various backup solutions, including Commvault, Azure Native Backup, Rubrik, Druva, NetBackup, and Veeam.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing backup strategies for diverse environments.
- Administering and configuring backup solutions for cloud-native workloads on AWS and Azure.
- Utilizing SRE and DevOps tools to automate and streamline daily operations.
- Troubleshooting complex technical issues in backup environments.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and availability.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Commvault and other backup solutions mentioned.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure.
- Proficiency in SRE and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience required: 5-8 years in backup administration or related field.
