About this role
The team is seeking a Senior BWHana/BDC Developer to act as a technical lead for their data-driven initiatives across the organization. This role will be pivotal in owning the data model across various analytics solutions and the data warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and provide technical guidance to other data engineers while collaborating with key stakeholders to address current and future data infrastructure needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of data models for analytics solutions and data warehouses.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure infrastructure scalability.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow and integrity.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with BWHana and BDC development.
- Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database management systems.
- Experience with data visualization tools and analytics platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering and analytics.
