About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in Go to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust backend systems that support various software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs using Go.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Go programming language and its frameworks.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in backend development.
