About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to serve as a senior individual contributor and technical leader on their digital platform. This role will primarily focus on enterprise backend systems and integrations that enhance patient and provider experiences across various functions, including ordering, consultations, and billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate scalable integration and service platforms.
- Contribute to the evolution of patient and provider experiences through backend solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and integration strategies.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications by optimizing backend processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with database technologies like SQL and NoSQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development and system integration.
