The team is a leading Imaging Technology and Imaging Clinical Research Organization (iCRO) dedicated to advancing imaging science and technology in the healthcare sector. We are currently seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing and maintaining backend systems that support our mission to connect imaging to the cure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in backend development.
