The Senior Backend Developer will own and drive the backend infrastructure that powers the platform's expansion into new markets and entertainment categories. This role is crucial in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of the backend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high availability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in backend development.
