About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Backend (BE) Developer to join their team and support mobile application development while providing technical guidance to local members of the Backend chapter. This role will report directly to the Backend Chapter Lead and is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of backend solutions for mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services for mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers and consultants in the Offshore Hub.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs in the backend systems.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in backend development with languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in backend development, preferably in mobile application contexts.
